nook design collective is a full-service interior design studio based in Denver, CO + the surrounding metro areas for homeowners renovating, building new or finally furnishing the home they love. As moms of young kids, we keep things pragmatic: we love a bold tile or sculptural light, but every choice has to hold up to everyday life.
I founded nook design collective following an almost two-decade- long career in residential interior design. Design has always been my driving force: I was the kid who was constantly rearranging the furniture in our home and redesigning my bedroom. Luckily, I had a mother who was willing to spend her weekends helping me cover my bedroom walls with crackle paint and hang blow-up, glow-in-the-dark stars from the ceiling...the ‘90s were a wild time! I grew up in Phoenix and was surrounded by mid-century architecture and I’ve been inspired by the timeless style and simplicity ever since.
I've climbed the corporate ladder at home building and interior finish companies but was never satisfied from a creative perspective. In order to scratch that creative itch, I always had a project on the side or was renovating my personal homes. As I continued to advance into corporate roles in my career, I felt more and more disconnected from what I love most: design. After the birth of my son, I decided that it was time to follow my passion, so I started nook.

I've worked side by side with Stacy since 2015, and when she decided to grow the collective, I was thrilled to come along.
I've loved interior design for as long as I can remember. A high school drafting class helped me realize that design was the perfect intersection of creativity and technical thinking, and I've been hooked ever since.
I genuinely love the problem-solving side of design: digging into the details of a tricky floor plan, rethinking how a space functions, and finding solutions that feel as beautiful as they are practical. To me, great design is about so much more than how a space looks. It's about understanding how people live and creating a home that makes everyday life feel more comfortable and more enjoyable.
