designed for the way you actually live

nook design collective is a full-service interior design studio based in Denver, CO + the surrounding metro areas. Renovation is our sweet spot, but we also specialize in new construction—from whole-home design to kitchens, baths, and the furnishings that bring every space to life.

what we do…

renovations, new builds and everything inside them.

Our favorite projects touch every part of a home, from renovations that rethink the layout to new builds designed from the inside out. We handle the design, the drawings and the details: finishes, cabinetry, lighting, furniture, and accessories. Then we stay on site with your builder, tracking the hundreds of tiny decisions it takes to get the last piece in place.

who we are…

designers for homes as functional as they are beautiful

Founder Stacy Kosis spent nearly two decades in residential design and home building before starting nook. Her first hire was an easy call: Lead Designer Emily Vicarel, her trusted friend and design partner since 2015. As moms of two young kids, they design for everyday life, from where the backpacks land to the lighting each task calls for, then choose materials that fit the way you live and still look beautiful years from now.

about us

  • "From our very first consultation with Stacy, owner of nook design collective, I knew almost immediately that I wanted to work with her. She described her approach as process-driven, with a style that is equal parts creative and highly organized—and that has proven true at every step. We were so impressed with the design experience that we also chose to work with nook on furniture selection. We wholeheartedly recommend nook design collective..."

  • “We worked with Stacy after buying a home we planned to renovate. She was easy to work with, quick to get things done, and the results were spectacular. She helped with layouts, picking out materials, furniture, and everything in between. We've received endless compliments about our space and we get to enjoy it every day! Stacy helped us bring our collective style to life and was just a great person to work with. I would highly recommend working with her and nook design collective.”

    — Katie

  • “It was such a pleasure working with nook design collective. Every meeting was informative, professional, efficient... and fun! Stacy heard my design cues (such as wipeable seating surfaces that could stand up to messy children!) and applied them without forgoing the stylistic feel we were going for. The end result was even better than I could have imagined. I still text Stacy periodically to tell her how warm and beautiful our home feels. We look forward to using nook design collective again and again in the future!”

    — Lindsey

  • “It’s not common to hear someone say they would seek out another big renovation because the design team made it such an incredible experience. That’s how we feel! We were blown away by the final result. Stacy and the Nook team are incredibly talented, organized and did so much more than help pick finishes…they provided fully thought out design layouts, and a cohesive plan which they executed beautifully. They bridged all gaps with our contractor to make the entire process simple for us! And needless to say a beautiful outcome, reflecting just what we were going for.”

    — Mary

  • “Stacy and Emily are a design dream team. They reimagined our kitchen, baths and living areas to create beautiful and highly functional spaces. They really listened to what we hoped for, and gave us more than we ever could have articulated. They worked seamlessly with everyone involved with the project. We are so happy with how everything came out!”

    — Mia

  • "We worked with Stacy at Nook Design Collective. We had the pleasure of seeing her work firsthand at an open house and knew we had to work with her in the future. We hired Stacy to help us with a full home update from start to finish, and we couldn't be happier with the service and the result. We absolutely could not have done it without her help. Stacy turned a typically stressful process into a fun and exciting experience. We highly recommend working with Nook Design Collective!"

    — Nick

  • "We worked with Nook Design Collective in 2023 on our home remodel, and were truly blown away by Stacy’s organization, communication, creativity, and ability to stay on timeline. She took our ideas and gave them a simple yet fun twist, making our spaces more inviting and uniquely ours. We would highly recommend Stacy and her team at Nook. She’s an absolute delight to work with, and we always looked forward to our design meetings with her and her team!! In the end, the final project was exactly what we had envisioned—if not better!!"
